Elements and Procedures

Elements and Procedures: A Basic Speller was developed over several years at the Academic Skills Center at Central Washington University. It has been used successfully with middle school, high school, and college remedial students. It is appropriate for adult basic education and has proved effective with advanced ESL students. The assumptions and strategies that inform it are discussed in the preface. The following samples are included here:
